Consumption
Methods
Smoking
Smoking cannabis produces the most immediate effects and permits the most refined control of your dosage. Smoking any material is not good for the lungs. It is better to smoke the flowers rather than the leaves as this reduces the amount you will need to smoke.
Vaporizing
Cannabis vaporizers are designed to let users inhale active cannabinoids while avoiding harmful smoke toxins. They do so by heating cannabis to a temperature that is just below the point of combustion where smoke is produced. At this point, THC and other active cannabinoids are emitted with little or no carcinogenic tars and noxious gases found in smoke.
Tincture
A cannabis-infused liquid that is ingested or absorbed sublingually. As a smokeless and vaporless product, tinctures have the benefit of being extremely discrete. Tinctures usually come in a small eye dropper or spray bottle and can easily be stored in a pocket or bag without producing any unwanted cannabis odor.
Edibles
We always recommend - start low and go slow! Edibles are any food or drink that contain cannabinoids, namely THC, the main intoxicating compound in cannabis that gets you high. They can also contain CBD, a cannabis compound that does not get you high but offers medical benefits, as well as more niche cannabinoids like CBN, CBG, and THCV, all of which contain unique medicinal and recreational benefits.
